If you need to raise them up, find some free pallets. Possibly use "liquid nails" to put the slabs together.

MODERATORS
Assuming you've an appropriate outdoor space, stack them with some landscaping stones between them into some kind of 3-tier formation.
Possible uses:
- Water feature (in my mind, the water would sluice down through the cutouts for the pockets)
- Plant stand
- Conversation piece
Some kind of outdoor landscaping is a good idea. I don't think I want to bother with a water feature but maybe there's a cool way to use them for plants. Thanks for the suggestions.
I've got an old snooker table that I can't get rid of, so I've been trying to think of ideas too. As I understand it, they're slate, used because slate is very smooth.
I was thinking of either finding someone who can split them up and making tables out of them, or selling them to an artist's supplier that I know of so that they can split them into whatever sizes they need. If you can find a high end business that uses slate, you'll probably get a better price.
In my case though getting rid of them is more important, so I'm not too concerned with making money off them.
I have no desire to profit from them, I'm just looking for cool ways to repurpose them. If I can't come up with anything that inspires me to do something with them I'll just give them away to someone else.
Tables are a common suggestion but I don't think that really fits our style. Maybe I should start looking up designs and see what others have come up with.

Welp, being a guy that works with me mittens a lot: chop up parts and sell off as tru-flat surfaces? Good for sanding down other surfaces on a flat one.
I'm not looking to make money on them. If I'm not able to come up with something I'll give them away to someone else to do something cool with.
I hadn't thought about using them as a true flat sanding surface. Considering how large they are and some of the projects I find myself working on sometimes that's a good shout. That might be a good use for one of the sections. Thanks!
