Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

Supermarket sushi.
Wasabi-chan and Ginger-chan, about to be devoured
In my circles, I'm the only one who ever eats the ginger.
Supermarket sushi. The red and green are the pickled ginger and fake wasabi behind the fake grass separating them from the rolls.
You've never had sushi or you've never had the supermarket sushi?
I've had both, but the supermarket stuff doesn't particularly look like that where I buy it.
Cosmo and Wanda
I never understood what the green pice of plastic is for.
It keeps the naturally predated-upon Sushi safe from the, although diminutive, aggressive Wasabi who's, known for a solitary nature when in the wild.
Aesthetics
If this was Perry Bible Fellowship there would be one more panel... when awareness kicks in.
What's the pink one? I assume the green would be wasabi.

Which is considered a pallet cleanser lmao.

That's definitely what it is, but the gari served with sushi is usually pale yellow in color, so that might be the cause for their confusion.
I’ve seen both pink or yellow. No clue what the difference is.
I may be wrong, but my understanding is that there is no difference, and that the pink ones are pink because of food coloring. It makes the ginger look younger or something.
