MODERATORS
problem that could cause the vehicle to lose power and potentially roll away if the parking brake is not applied.
Recalls are good for catching and fixing issues, but it pains me that people are out there that do not apply the parking brake when parked, even in an automatic vehicle.
Most new cars have switched to an electronic parking brake that automatically applies itself when the gear selector is put into park, I take it these aren't equipped with that?
