Might be a dumb question but what style of painting is this? There’s a Chinese artist that paints like this that I’ve been searching for for years and I can’t find anything from them anymore

Fairly sure this is impressionism. Namely the modern urban hazy impressionism, of which there is a lot and which regularly pops up on Reddit. Though at least it's not blurry taillights on a road again.

I may be nitpicking here but I would classify this as abstracted rather than fully abstract.
I would additionally, near-meaninglessly, classify it as post modern
