It is so fucking good. God I love this season!
I was annoyed that it took so long, and the “kids” are no longer kids.
Even with that to overcome, though, I thought it was pretty good. I’d say it’s definitely worth watching if you’ve enjoyed previous seasons.
Seeing the callbacks to season 1 was fun, yeah I agree it was pretty good. I’m looking forward to seeing how it ends!
I don't know anyone talking about it.
Yeah but you dont know anyone.
I do, but the general consensus is "meh".
I'm going to watch it to see how it ends, but seeing the reception to the episodss out so far pushed me to wait until everything is out. If it is still meh but not terrible then I'll get around to it eventually. Maybe.
They completely forgot that by explaining everything they kill the whole atmosphere of the horror.
Robin has been completely flanderized, Linda Hamilton completely phones it in (she for some reason fails to chew the scenery as much as the script obviously wants her to) and it seems as if the showeis heading in the direction of some teens miming goofy telekinesis gestures at each other.
It never reached the heights of the first season, but it was completely over for me when they killed Alexi.

After that I didn't care about the returning characters and they ended the best Bromance in the show.
Oof they also did him dirty killing him when he at his happiest moment at the carnival. So sad
I know of at least one.
Netflix' last harrah.
I gave up after series 1. That was sufficient.
Welll you are missing out.

Fun little comedy/horror show with 80s pastiche. I'm having a good time through to the end, even if it was a bit rocky in parts.
Good choice.
I liked it, i didn't really see a point to continue. The reason seemed to be that people like the show a lot apparently.
This series is still going?
I was thoroughly convinced that after the first season, that in the second season, they should have just pivoted to an entirely different town, a different cast, and a entirely different concept of what was happening. The first season was like a long form episode of the X-files. Never explain too much. Keep it mysterious. Explaining things ruins it. Then just barely bring in the characters from the previous season towards the end of the second season, the same way the smoking man was kept mysterious in the X-files. Keep the world mysterious, but begin building out that broader landscape.
It could have been the new X-files. Instead it died in 2 seasons.
Bulllshit it died. It is excellent and gets more views than ever.
I'm gonna torrent that shit. No way I'm giving my money to ~~Amazon~~ Netflix.
Edit: Oops. Wrong platform.
Why would you give Amazon money for a Netflix show?
Because fuck Amazon.
But fuck Netflix too.
Anyway. Thanks for highlighting that mistake lol
What’s your favorite tv show distributor that you do pay for?
None right now. I'd like to pay for local content (French Canadian from Québec) but it's spread across 14 services so it's impossible. It gets way too expensive and it's riddled with ads even if you pay.
I see. So it’s not about any one service. You just don’t pay. And you likely reject ads on free services.
Seems broken.
No. Ads on free services is fine. I watch Pluto and Tubi for example. If it's free, I expect ads. If I pay, I expect not to have ads because I already bring a revenue to the service provider. Plus, the paid services used to be the same price with no ads. But they got greedy and decided to put ads for extra revenue for their investors. I reject that.
I'm convinced they've got the Season Finale episodes scheduled for Dec 31st in order to goose their 2026 numbers from the spillover.
YEAH
In other news water makes things wet..
