I've created a blueprint for the IKEA Bilresa (remote with scrollwheel) that works now. This scroll wheel remote is perfect for controlling multiple light groups.

The blueprint lets you control 3 independent light groups (or single lights) with intuitive button mappings:

Button Layout:

  • Buttons 1-3: Group 1
  • Buttons 4-6: Group 2
  • Buttons 7-9: Group 3

For each group:

  • Scroll right: Brightness up (+10%) (changable with brightness step)
  • Scroll left: Brightness down (-10%) (changable with brightness step)
  • Middle button: Toggle on/off
  • Middle button (long press): Cycle color temperature (warm → neutral → cool)

⚙️ Customizable Settings

  • Brightness step percentage (5-25%)
  • Transition time for smooth dimming (0-5s)
  • Three color temperature presets (warm/neutral/cool Kelvin values)

📥 Installation

Option 1: Import directly (easiest)

  1. Go to Settings → Automations → Blueprints
  2. Click Import Blueprint
  3. Paste this URL: https://github.com/davvarn/ikeamatterdevices/blob/main/bilresa-scrollwheel-blueprint.yaml
  4. Click Preview → Import

Then simply create an automation using the blueprint.
