I'm just not sure how I can ever feel okay with a technology that is openly constantly scanning everyone around me. I really really love the idea of using it to help me learn things like edible local flora or live price comparisons, data on how sustainably something was made...

But how do we keep it from being so incredibly invasive of everyone else's privacy?

I would love to say that if will be fine if it stays offline, or is processed locally, but the reality is that it would be useless offline and is rich for abuse.

I wonder why they went with an MIT license, rather than something like GPL.
