I'd like to come out of the closet about something. I passionately hate any drink that isn't water or water-based. Sure, water with fruit-syrup is fine. That's completely okay. My passion targets drinks such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, or whatever the other trash is called. Yes, my hatred includes wine, beer and spirits. I cannot drink this stuff because it genuinely disgusts me. I live a place that has brilliant tap water, way better than any sparkling water you could buy from a shop. Basically 90% of the time I only drink tap water. If I'm at a restaurant, I ask them to squeeze some raspberry, or lemons into the water, but to leave out any sugar.
Until I found this community, I did not know how to voice this niche and weird aspect of me. I see all of my friends drink this sugary sewage or alcohol, and I only ever drink something that's water-based or purely water. I know I'm probably the minority and I am weird to them. But that's just how I feel like. It's weird to drink sugary sewage.
While writing this, I think this is how some homosexuals or transgenders feel when they come out about being of a different sexuality or gender. But not for me, I had my "come out of the closet" moment with water. This is not a shitpost. I am serious. And I am proud.
