Opened Wikipedia to make sure I remember it right that the ladies from tATu must be around forty now and probably can't sell the schoolgirl image anymore. Had a chuckle at seeing that the band broke up in 2011, but had one-off reunions in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2022, 2023, and apparently a longer one since the last year. Looks like all these times they performed just a couple of their biggest hits from twenty-five years ago, which must've been increasingly awkward.
Anyway, their biggest contribution to my musical collection is the cover of ‘Not Gonna Get Us’ by Boney Nem with the pretty memorable change of sound from their previous albums.
