Seems like they caved today. Denmark said they’re gonna make a task force to have open communication with the US about this to find a peaceful way forward.

If y’all can’t till him to fuck off concerning this there is no room for peace.

Might have been the plan all along, or at least the backup plan.

There's only around 50,000 people in Greenland, it's about as populous as a mid-size college town. All the US really has to do to soft take over is increase their presence on the Island, feel like that's probably going to be a focus of this task force from the US side. Logistics are problematic but the US has singular military bases that are significantly more populated than the entire country. If US presence outnumbers native presence, I feel like future Greenland independence talks could become interesting in a way that might not work out well.

I wouldn't send too many troops to Greenland, Putin's not dead yet.

Putin couldn't be happier by this chaos and distraction from Ukraine. Investment paying off.

I keep saying this.

The US has decades of experience destabilizing South America through the CIA.
They just have to keep funding far/right parties/movements in Europe and soon enough we'll have EU-versions of ICE.

No invasion necessary.

Anyway we are fucked up as Europe. We are digital colony of USA… everything relies on us companies…

[–] 0x0@lemmy.zip 5 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Plus NATO was a great way for most countries to relax on military draft and spending... here's the result.

[–] Kkk2237pl@lemmy.world 2 points 11 hours ago
