Sky friend magazine sounds like a poor translation of an inflight magazine. Then again, it might be.

I got tired just thinking about a response to people like that.

Yeah, if I had a dollar for every minute I've spent doing that, I could buy the Eiffel Tower and put in a fair bid for the Taj Mahal

[–] tetris11@lemmy.ml 6 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I'll give you fifty for the Eiffel Tower.

At that price, you're gonna have to haul it yourself.

Do the legs unscrew? I have 6x4 trailer, will it fit in that? It doesn’t look that big on the television.

Do the legs unscrew?

Dunno, worth a try? 🤷

I have 6x4 trailer, will it fit in that?

Yes, it's smaller than 6 by 4 nautical miles. Should fit comfortably within those dimensions.

It doesn’t look that big on the television.

Depends on both the size of your TV and your distance from the TV. I've personally found that it looks enormous when having my face pressed directly to the glass of a 36 inch tv, but that was a while ago and your mileage may vary 🤷

The most annoying part is that the guy who doesn't believe in the spikes is the one who's closest to being able to pull himself off of it, if he were to try. His spike doesn't protrude beyond his chest as far as the others.

Also how are they speaking when their lung cavities have been completely filled with spike.

The spike isn't real

You dare to assume to understand the biology of the lavanebulites from the Lavaplanes of Eternal Torment?!?

Sometimes I think it must be nice to be stupid.

[–] VikingHippie@lemmy.wtf 6 points 2 years ago

So do I. Must be nice to be able to just sling out whatever preposterous thing comes to mind and just leave it at that 🤷

Scenes from a Multiverse! Damn, that takes me back.

I was actually introduced to it only a few weeks ago, via a Questionable Content newspost as I was re-reading it from the start 😁

But yeah, gotta love it! ❤️
