I will delete my accounts, but beforehand I wanted to update the comments I made. I have 5+ years of reddit history, all will be deleted. I am so sad :( But I dont want to share my data any more

I downloaded them first. I still have them somewhere in a csv file on my computor. I haven't deleted my account, I occasionally log in, and at least once my comments came back, so I deleted them again. I won't delete the account so I can delete the comments again in the future.

I did that for lemmy back when they closed all 3rd party apps, and got banned for it from some subs, hah.

Not my own script, ome of the too;s out there already had am option to overwrite old comments with custom content.
