I have the xr still going strong

Mine freezes as well or lags, ever since I got it I wanted to use it until the end of its update cycle, so next year I’ll be getting the next iPhone

Do you also have problems with battery draining while idle? I don’t even use mine at all during some days and when I go grab it it’s dead

Traded my xr for the 14pro when I was offered 800 for the old phone last year. Best decision ever, better camera, longer battery life, same size, nicer screen and no longer is it slow or freeze up or overheat. Get the 14 pro you won’t regret it

The only things we're truly missing are 5G and an ultra-wide camera, neither of which are urgent, or even that important, needs for me.

Nothing, the iPhone XR does the same thing as the iPhone 14. ✨

Went from XR to 14PM and honestly didn’t notice a huge difference. Dynamic island thing, screen, variable refresh rate, and anything else that initially sold me on this phone became irrelevant after first two weeks. I use my phone 5-7 hours a day.

Camera is much better though.

Just get a new battery if you have sudden freezes. My 7Plus was like new after a new battery (first lasted 5 years).

I just upgraded to a 15 Pro from an X. It is quite an upgrade. Holy Moly it’s so much faster.

Replace your Battery, you will feel it like a new phone. Yeah the difference is enormous it affects a lot the speed even the behavior of the RAM. With 80 sometimes even 85 or lower battery health the phone feels slow , always harm or hot, a lot of refreshing when jumping between apps. After battery replacement the phone feels fast , no heat or less and the refreshing is less frequent

Don't get any of the 15s. Go 14 series
