When I was 16 I bought that MacBook and I put a bunch of random stickers on it. I took them off today and they left this residue.. how can I get it off without damaging the finish?

Try alcohol high proof. If thats not enough use acetone.

I use hand sanitizer. Drop a bunch on the top, let it loosen the residue, then wipe it off with a paper towel

Apple stickers on a MacBook always felt really redundant to me

Rule Nb 1: NEVER EVER use stickers on a computer

Any adhesive remover should at least partially do the trick but even if the residue is gone it will most likely leave discolorations in the shape of the stickers.

You say that as if it is a matter of life or death lol. It’s okay to put stickers on your computer

it kind of is... for the value of your device if you ever resell it
