Hi guys, I am thinking I am getting a MacBook, specifically the MacBook Air m2 base model. So my concern is how is the performance of the base model, my only use case would be just browsing the internet, watching movies on , Netflix, and maybe having multiple Twitch streams open at the same time, do you guys think it will handle all that without any issues is the 8gb ram gonna be a problem.

I do all of that on an M1 base model so you should be good to go

You could honestly just go with an M1 MB Air as for that workload, the difference will be negligible.

Though I would suggest to get 16GB Ram not only to future-proof, but, as you mentioned, you're doing a lot of browsing, so Twitch is going to eat up your ram fast.

M2 can do more than what the M1 can. I have M1 and I open loads of tabs it works pretty well. How much more if its M2
