My iPhone 5’s screen started to go purple when the battery began to expand. I’d definitely get that checked out.
You can se a slight uniform bludgeon from the case in either of the king sides as well. That battery is definitely ready to go.
The purple is coming for you. Dread, run for it, your phone will turn purple all the same.
Get yourself a purple case, it’s inevitable anyway, might as well get ahead of it.

If this is the battery expanding as others are suggesting, this is quite a fire risk. And you should stop using it immediately, and whatever you do don’t charge it.
Got the same thing a few months ago, i went to warranty and they changed my screen since it was a non original screen

NGL that should be an iOS feature. But yeah, get it checked.
Take it in to apple they give you a new one if no cracks are in the screen but if they notice is saw it's wet they won't give you no exchange at all
