Just got my new AW 7 Stainless last week and was wondering if its normal to charge it to 100% at night before bed, and wake up at 83% of battery? Should I keep or return this?

I usually charge mine twice a day for 20-30 minutes every morning before going to work, during shower and at night when I shower again. Is my charging routine okay? Will this not drain the watch battery fast?

FWIW My S9 behaves more or less the same overnight and it’s less than a week old so sounds like normal.

Are you on WatchOS 10? It has battery drain issues.

One of the fixes would be to remove all 3rd party apps.

It could be normal depending in your usage

15-20% battery drop during the night is normal for me too. And your charging routine is about the same as mine!

For a data point: I got my new apple watch series 9. After 2 weeks I charged it to full at 9pm. The battery died at 3am while I was asleep. (I had it replaced).

10-20 sounds ok if it was monitoring things while you slept.

After the newest update, my series 7 isn’t even lasting a day. Where it to work at 100% by the time i’m home at 5pm, it’s already dead.

I put mine in movie theater mode so it doesn't wake every time I move. Seems to help a lot.
