You are right, the whole TOS would be amazing.
People aren't familiar with most of their base material, and its still funny as hell. With the cultural familiarity to TOS it seems like it would be even more relatable? I dunno, but I would watch the hell out of it personally

RiffTrax (a MST3K spin-off created by Mike Nelson after the end of MST3Ks original run, and would eventually go on to include Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo) and Bill Corbett (Crow T. Robot)) actually riffs a bunch of the original series movies like Wrath of Khan.
