Nearly 3 days of normal usage from my Ultra 2 with no low power mode required. (alien.top)

The battery on the Ultra 2 is so great compared to my old Series 7. I think I could get just shy of 3 days/72 hours of proper usage (this was including 1 hour of an outdoor walk being tracked, and 1 hour of tradtional strength workout in the workouts app) if I played my cards right. Charged to 95% on Sunday night 8:10pm, now at 6:50pm on Tuesday night and it's still got 1/3 charge left. Their 36 hours was VERY kind.

The only settings I have changed are;

turning off detect gym equipment
disabled some background app refresh apps (but not entirely), and
an automation to disable "wake to raise" when I am at work.

Brightness is set to default 2/3 and I have most notifications turned off (messages is about all that come through).

I am stoked, I no longer have any battery paranoia compared to having to set my old watch to cinema mode while I was at the gym after work because I had 15% battery left.

I also have an automation that disables "raise to wake" while I'm in work & driving focus. On the flip side, I also enable AOD in that same automation.

No idea how long mine would last on a full charge but my routine of putting it on the charging stand while I shower seems to be keeping it between 50 and 90% indefinitely, which I’m very happy with. I’m fairly sure that 50% would easily get me a whole day so I never come close to running out of charge, plus it’s good for battery longevity.
