Or not wanting to be stuck in Switzerland away from his family for most of the year.
Yeah that's probably it, I'm sure the family will enjoy the new solid gold house though
Stroll is going to dump money into this team until it is dragged, kicking and screaming, into the top of the midfield.
Also sucks for Audi, who was looking pretty damn good all things considered. New-ish team, new PU. Looked like the best of the lower teams, imo. Williams isn't killing it, Aston is Aston. Cadi is brand new. Alpine, Haas, and RaB look well ahead of those teams.
Sucks for Audi, sure, but you are speaking like they are doomed now. I know the TP is important, but it doesn't automatically mean things will fall apart now. I think its the stability that matters, if Audi becomes a revolving door like Aston, then its gonna be bad. But at the moment, I'm still as hopeful as I was a race ago. Ish...
Yeah, from how I understand Audi's structure, Binotto is much more central to the project than Wheatley has been
I don't necessarily think they're doomed, yeah it's just the stability and direction. It seemed like something was working, and a change could disrupt it. Bright side being, it's not like he was around for a long time, so maybe not much to disrupt at this point? Lol
Yup. I'm still hopeful for them. As long as VAG doesn't pull the plug, should be alright
โDid you know you can donate one or all of your organs to the Aperture Science Low Esteem Fund for ~~Girls~~ Aston Martin? Itโs true!โ
There's something I don't underestand. Doesn't F1 have clausules in which you have a "cool-down" period between working for team A and going to team B? How can he be going to AM?
F1 as the racing series? Of course not. But every serious team has these clauses. Why the hell Audi does not force Wheatley to do a sabbatical before starting at Aston Martin is a gold question (if the rumours are true that he will immediately join them). It would be very unusual for sure.
