Let’s not forget this is the man who arrived in Buffalo for the first time like “Where the fuk?” Because he thought he was going to NYC.

I'm still flabbergasted by DAs prosecuting DUIs when the defendants were asleep behind the wheel of a car not on or in the active traffic lanes. People get drunk, but should we chase the people who chose not to drive?

I’m just here so I don’t go to jail

I have chosen to ignore the drunk driving and will carry on with my “haha silly skittles man” opinion

You’re a jags fan. If you ain’t drinking you ain’t trying.

[–] Rock_Strongo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

His DUIs do make it harder to fully get behind him as a person. Thankfully he's never hurt anyone, but still. I wish he'd just call an uber.

Hopefully this will be the last one?

He's had numerous incidents like this everywhere he played. Not all convicted or even in the news.

His scene in Brooklyn 99 is always what comes to mind when I think about him.

Well at least he didn’t hit anyone or have a gun this time.

Sleeping in a car is always a tricky one. It’s obvious that he was driving drunk at one point, but pulling over to sleep it off always seems to be the next best choice

Getting a DUI doesn’t necessarily make you an alcoholic but getting a DUI when while the sun is still up…

[–] jarjarkinks4747@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yup... and getting multiple DUIs is a pretty dead giveaway someone can't control their alcohol intake. He needs to get help and in the meantime, he needs a driver.

Honestly he’s a shitty person, like outside of football he’s not as cool as the media portrays him to be. Drinking and driving and being high is not the way to in life.

[–] CantTradeMe2@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Damn you know him in real life.

[–] Potatocannon022@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lemme guess, he says the cops profiled him

[–] Alexcox95@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Wonder what Jon Taffer has to say about all this

[–] Dylan_clarke01@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It’s insane how lightly a DUI is treated and then something like the Henry Ruggs crash happens and then people criticise.

[–] dryleg69420@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Just gonna get a fine maybe some community service dudes not going to jail for a first time dui

[–] maurywillz@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He's kind of always been a piece of shit. Hella good at football though.

Drunk driving is terrible but it’s always funny to see the moral grandstanding online about it.

Footballs fans are notorious drunk drivers, everyone here has knows people who regular goes to bars, work / personal events, tailgates, parties ect…where family and friends get drunk and drive. Liquor is sold on every corner in most of America from gas stations, pharmacies, grocery stores, bars obviously, etc…

This is where we pretend this isn’t and hasn’t been a rampant issue in the country forever lol.

Probation and fine.

Expensive lawyers are worth it on DUI.
