Could it be true that an IPhone wouldn't send /receive a picture from Android? (alien.top)

I understand that I'm being ridiculous, but could iPhone block pics on any chatting apps?

Someone told me that recently, and I don't believe that.

I won't get hurt by their lies. However, it's just strange.

The only thing I have encountered is when the android receives my pic the quality isn’t nearly as good so to get around that I send via iCloud link and it’s fine

Maybe it's the Android that refuses to send to iOS?!?
