I think +5 seconds was too lenient. They need to bring back stop-go penalties.
Yeah, 5 seconds for retiring another car is not enough.
F1 penalises based on the infraction, and not the outcome.
Maybe it's time for FIA to look into further categorising "Causing a collision"

Doesn't matter. Penalty points don't lead to anything anyway. It's almost as if they're designed to be just a gesture.
Correct me if I'm wrong.. Accumulated penalty points wouldresult in loss of super license?
I believe it's 'only' a one-race ban when you go over the limit of 12 points; not sure whether there are some more severe penalties for repeat offenders.
