Definitely second mangadex. I'll add that although most of their stuff is on mangadex, if you're interested in manhua the Realm Scans group realmscans.xyz has a good reader interface, and some good series that I haven't found on the dex site.
My partner has been telling me to checkout Manga plus- https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/updates. I haven't delved too deeply as it's missing some old timey manga i was looking for, but it has One Piece, lol.
Man, I wish mangaplus would invest some time to improve the frontend.
They intentionally overwrite all default behavior of keyboard presses and create event listeners for "ArrowDown" and "ArrowTop" (instead of "ArrowUp", which makes this non-functional lol, this bug has been there for 3 years at least) for going to next and previous page. Why not do the thing that literally every online reader app does - leave the defaults alone (arrows up/down for slow scroll) and set arrows left/right for page control?
