He seems one and done. The owner doesn’t care

Imagine a coach being fired mid season and immediately being hired after one year. Like the dude didn’t join another team and learn something new. The reason he was fired in Indy is the same reason he will be fired in Carolina.
“Yes”
Germany, 1940
Since the arguments against him are pretty clear, I will say that we knew he wouldn't be winning us games, at least not yet. He's here for Bryce. I could go either way on him, on the one hand he has been bad so far, on the other, as long as he's helping Bryce we should hold on to him
I mean, the evidence is mounting that it doesn’t matter who the head coach and GM is if you have a bad owner
Take it from someone who would have a Lions/Browns dual flair if Haslem wasn’t such an idiot to sign Watson…although Shelia seems to have righted the ship at least somewhat…
If it’s true that ownership forced the top pick, then I can’t help but feel awful for Reich — who had Luck retire on him and now this.
Shouldn’t have been hired..every fan knew that but these owners have…preferred people is how ill put it
Granted the panthers have horrible luck, but I thought Reich was a good coach? Was Andrew Luck really the secret the whole time?
I do think you gotta give these guys some time, the most successful teams in the nfl usually have coaching consistency. But trading for the first pick never seems to work out, and it seems very odd with the draft of qb's coming up this year.
Speaking as an old Oilers fan, I applaud his downfall.
If losing games is wrong, I don't wanna be Reich
Should never have been there in the first place. Panthers passing on Steve Wilks was an awful decision
Ah so we all thought Frank Reich was good! But in all reality it was actually Andrew Luck and Philip Rivers dragging the team kicking and screaming to the playoffs?! 🤔
I'm shocked he was hired in the first place.
PLEASE!!! Don't mind losing. Just don't want to lose and be forced to watch whatever he is sending onto the field every Sunday.
To be fair, the roster sucks. But they beat us. So that clearly means Young > Stroud
I bloody hope so.
The number of coaches who fail upward is insane. I can understand wanting to give someone a chance. Every HC has to start somewhere after all. But these guys who get a second chance for no tangible reason blow my mind. I'd rather take a gamble on an unknown quantity.
Don’t really pay attention to the Panthers.
I know they’ve only won one game but is the coaching really that bad?
Are they at least playing hard or showing that they believe in Reich as a coach?
We warned you and ya'll didn't listen.
No shame in being a coordinator Frank. Or even going to college level to actually learn how to be a HC.
I can’t believe I was tricked into thinking Reich was a good hire
Turns out the QB whisperer was whispering nonsense. But who would you even get to replace him?
they need him gone before he has to coach a game in Germany and all the viewers wonder why the fuck they keep calling the guy on the sideline "France"
He fuckin better be
I hear McDaniels is available...
It hasn’t been one year, look at his run with the colts too
I'm not syaing Reich is some great coach but firing him after one year with the situation he was given is going to make the job very unattractive. Who's going to feel confident that they'll get to build a team if you're going to get canned after 1 year? If it does happen, they better nail FA because they don't have a 1 next year.
No give him 2 more years and then decide.
Damn y’all give HC and players zero time to develop
If they do he’ll probably still get a third head coaching offer. A Third Reich team would be a mistake.
A Falcons fan posted this after Arthur Smith’s 5 minute monologue about why Bijan isn’t getting more touches. Classic.
I don't watch much football or know who he is but fuck it, get rid of him.
Baby come back 🎶
Please please yes
Everytime I see the name Frank Reich I think I’m on a history sub for a second lol
Idk wtf they were thinking hiring that clown
He is not the problem. At least IMO. Is he the second coming of Lombardi? Probs not.
Seems like the owner and whoever he chose to pick the talent is the problem. Because they have none. Should Reich get fired? IDK. I am not in that building. But it won't solve anything.
Also, every week that Stroud looks like Manning in year 3 and Young looks like Ryan Leaf, it is going to be unpleasant for everyone in the franchise. Whether that is fair or not doesn't matter.
are they actually considering firing him? He drafted a potential franchise qb and had nothing around him for weapons. What is he supposed to do this quick. Young is still adjusting to the nfl
If he does get fired, I hope the eagles bring him back as OC.
Well the original Frankreich was gone in 6 weeks after Germany.
So history says yes.
Please god
I'm of the opinion that Fitterer should be the first to go.
I really doubt he'd be canned after just the one year. It doesn't really make sense he just got his franchise QB
Anything is possible - Magic Johnson
He’s not a good coach. I’ve been wondering how he’s been getting jobs for years.
Why the fuck did they even hire him? Seriously
I feel like it's unfair to heap all the blame onto Reich when Young has not been good so far. IMO GM should be far more under fire for scouting these two QBs and coming away with Young being the easy choice. Seems like rumors coming up to the draft is at least some FOs saw Stroud very highly (iirc that was why HOU's owner barged in and forced them to draft him at the last minute is because teams like Tenn were considering trading up to grab him at 3). Now, I haven't been watching a lot of Panthers games this year so maybe there are other signs of bad coaching and management, but it feels like most topics about the Panthers stem from lack of talent.
Lol the owner had to demand his FO to draft Stroud because they weren’t going to otherwise? That’s a new one for me. Nonetheless, Young was pretty widely regarded as the most NFL-ready QB. Only concern was his size, which doesn’t really seem to be an issue right now considering he’s targeting the middle of the field better than the other thirds. Stroud was seen as more boom or bust with concerns as to whether he could put the mental game together to effectively utilize his physical tools.
He hasn’t looked great but I’m opposed to only giving one year.
