I’m looking to get a new phone. Currently have the iPhone se 2nd gen. On more of a budget so looking at the se 3rd generation or 13.

Questions are will there be a big difference in current phones to these ? Or to the 13? Or should I wait a little longer.

The 13 is about 300 and the se is about 200-230.

Thoughts ? Thanks

I really like my SE3. I went from an SE2 to an 11 to an SE3.

I just think they're great size little phones and I love TouchID.

I personally think the 13 is superior, a much more modern design and camera system.

But if you are happy with your SE, an SE 3 will pretty much just be exactly what you’re using now, just marginally better in every way.

13, you gain a better camera, a modern design, faceID and all

Unless the price difference will cut into your food or heat budget, 13 all the way. Face ID, better camera, better battery, Magsafe, etc.

Also, don't count the 13 mini out. The phone is smaller than the SE but the screen is bigger.

13 for 300?? That’s an absolute steal and I would 100% go for that, unless you greatly prefer the SE size. My 13 Pro is still going strong with nearly 900 battery cycles and I can’t imagine upgrading at this point, so the 13 should still be great

My kid went from an SE to a 12 and thought it was a lot better. I think the SE couldn’t do face recognition or wireless charging but I might be mistaken

13 absolutely no doubt
