People keep using this as some weird flex, without realizing School of Mines is a good program. It just has a funny name.

Bagent is a bad QB because of what he has(n’t) done in the NFL, not because of Mines

Actually, I think those last 5 college football games Bagent played that they showed during the Amazon Prime Video broadcast were 1) the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship game (which Shepherd lost to IUP, aka Indiana University of Pennsylvania) and 4) four D2 playoff games (first round, Super Regional 1 semifinals, Super Regional 1 championship/national quarterfinals, and national semifinals).

NOTE: I follow D2 football, especially the PSAC (root for 3 different teams, one of which is IUP, my graduate school alma mater), and Shepherd is the second-closest D2 team to where I currently live. I’ve actually gone to a couple of Shepherd home games (in 2019 & 2021) when they hosted one of those teams I follow. Shepherd has been a strong D2 football program for most of the last 30 years.

If I had a nickel for every time an undrafted rookie QB defeated the rookie QB that was the top overall pick, I'd have two nickels - which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

The fact that Carolina traded away it’s first round pick in upcoming nfl draft with the most talented top of the first round in NFL history. 5-6 QBs. Best TE prospect ever . Best WR prospect since megatron . All time great OT prospect . that does not even count any of the highly rated defensive players

But hey, you got yourself an undersized QB skinny qb , with an average arm. He does have quick feet and no doubt a quick release - to the CFL in a year or two . Where small skinny QBs with average arm strength thrive .

Maybe you all can win the grey cup .
