I've just noticed there is a small crack in the LCD panel of my MacBook Air m2. How bad is it? Is it gonna expand?

How did that happen ? are u using a case for the laptop ? because it can break the screen avoid using one, and no if you take care of it wont spread.

If it’s a single hairline crack with no impact point or spider webbing, Apple’s limited warranty might cover it

Yes it will spread and you’ll have to replace the display. Hopefully you purchased AppleCare+.

I've heard repairs can cost up to $600. It might be a good idea to start saving up

Yes, that will expand over time unfortunately.

If your screen works and the image is fine, it's ridiculous to pay for a tiny fracture.

Buy Applecare before you tell them there's an issue. Once you have Applecare, tell them your laptop screen recently got fractured.
