This is going to sound stupid, but please help. How can I open Maps from Spotlight? (alien.top)

I realize I can search within Maps from Spotlight, but am I missing something whereas it doesn’t seem to give me the option to open the app fresh? It can only search within the Maps app?

Am I just stupid?

Just type Maps in.
