Should i get a M2 Air or a M3 Air? (alien.top)

I’m a 14 year old freshman in high school and I need a MacBook. I’m just going to do internet and Google Docs and Slides work and a light gaming on the side. Which Macbook should I get?

If you need a laptop get the M2 Air now. M1 air would be fine to be honest and save you a tonne of money.

M3 doesn't exist and may not come out for 4-6 months, long time to wait if you need a laptop.

Unless your school requires it (really don’t think that’s the case) or your current 2 year old laptop is broken then get the m2. Why would a 14 year old freshman in highschool need a very expensive laptop ?
