Amd or 13th gen both support usb4/thunderbolt respectively. You are good. Look up elevated systems on youtube. They tested egpu on amd.

Yes you can, and I did, with the 13th gen intel board. With Windows is straight plug and play. Make sure you install nvidia/amd drivers.

You can, AMD usb4 which I think includes thunderbolt3 spec Intel thunderbolt4

Don't quote me, look up specs but it's something like this

Can I hijack to ask what egpu case y'all are using?

Real eGPU user here. Using 3060ti and FW13 (1240p).

For me it was enough. All games work perfectly on ultra settings in 1080p.

It was a great experience till Alan Wake 2 was released =_=

1240p could not handle it - CPU bottleneck.

I’m hoping that AMD Ryzen 7 will)

But overall- i was playing Control, Forza Horizon and basically all games works fine. Cyberpunk 2077 work great on high preset.

So only 2 games are not working properly - alan wake 2 and Starfiled.
