…new research published Friday and shared exclusively with the Guardian found that companies that resisted the pressure and kept their DEI practices, including Costco, Apple and Delta Air Lines, performed just as well as their competitors who pulled back.

So:

  • Corporations after applying DEI-washing: nothing changed.
  • Corporations after removing DEI-washing: nothing changed.
  • Corporations after keeping DEI-washing: nothing changed.

Conclusion: DEI-washing (just like green-washing, security-washing, kids-protection-washing etc) desn't mean anything (possibly because of the "-washing" part), they use it exclusively to stay in favor politically and/or to get you divided and take advantage of you.

The article is garbage because it just keeps pouring gasoline into the dumpster fire.

These giant corporations aren't your friends. They weren't doing the initiatives for optics! There is absolutely value in different perspectives and the companies that refused to cancel them in the face of bullies now have a competitive edge...

Yes, it could be worse.
