Wikipedia [en]: "Doom is a 1993 first-person shooter game developed and published by id Software for MS-DOS. It is the first installment in the Doom franchise. Due to the release of its source code, Doom has been unofficially ported to numerous platforms. These ports include esoteric devices such as smart thermostats, pianos, and Doom itself, which led to variations of a long-running meme, "Can it run Doom?" and "It runs Doom".

TIL that you can run doom in nextcloud in a container. Here's how you can test it on your linux machine:

podman run --rm -p8080:80 nextcloud:latest create temporary container
open http://localhost:8080/ in your browser
make an admin account (and choose sqlite)
skip recommended apps
in the top left corner, press on the dots and then the plus to add a new app
choose doom under games category and "download and enable"
open doom

i mean, it launches a browser doom that your browser runs but yeah. that's a way to describe it. i have deployed next/opencloud a dozen times and didn't notice doom. cool, easy, and the kids just love it.
