That's abiogenesis in a nutshell.
Did somebody ever try to recreate the bion experiments? I'm pretty sure Reich is considered a quack nowadays, but makes sense to just observe things with a good enough microscope and patience, one could observe abiogenesis in some form
If you're aware of Reich you might already have heard of René Thom's theory of morphogenesis and how he modeled it. If not see below.
