But in a very similar vein of the origonal post, you acctually dont know what your home smells like because after a few days of living somewhere your brain starts to block out lots of unneccessary sensory input.
So you will never really know if your place has 'a smell' unless someone tells you, plus if your friends and family are being polite they probably still wont tell you if its a (slightly) unpleasant smell.
This is a perfectly normal and reasonable paranoid thought i have often.

But I always see my nose? Its never dissapeared for me, but I also see two of everything I'm not focusing on too. Kinda think I have binocular Diplopia where you're brain doesn't register your vision and hide shit like the nose
