i swear siri has gotten even worse after ios 17 (alien.top)

she just straight up doesn't do things that were previously possible, and that includes the most basic stuff, setting a reminder is a struggle for siri, i ask the to set an alarm for 8 and she starts playing a song named "8"

she doesn't even respond half the time, i just get interrupted by a "hmmm?" and she doesn't listen to the rest of what was said, its exhausting how bad siri really is

It's even worse because now it doesn't pause the video or song while she answers and/or listens, and it makes you rewind media back. Combined with prolonged listening time after first response makes it infuriating. How could they mess it up so badly?

This is true for Alex and Google as well. Which kinda sucks.

Wonder why they have been removing functionality.

Yup. My Alexa gets it right about 50% of the time now (if it even hears me saying Alexa on the first try).

Google only listens when you type on the Google mic. It works just fine with alarms and timers. When I use the voice search it works just fine. Works great with Google keyboard. I don't know why it don't work for you

Why can’t they just connect Siri’s voice to ChatGPT and I can turn my lights off with a button

Have you tried that chatgpt integration with Siri via Shortcuts? It looks very nice. Gotta pay for the service, but depending on your usage it could be just $1 a month.

🤣 right ? I’ve also noticed she’ll respond to someone else who says Siri instead of the main person who owns the device !! So annoying !!

Mine is switched off, I used google assistant before but eventually switched it off just don’t feel comfortable knowing it is listening. But comparatively google assistant blows Siri out of the water

i use siri for alarm, weather and basic reminder. just because sometimes i cant bother to touch the keyboard. but that’s all it’s been good for.

i love using chat gpt for work. please apple, buy the damn tech, you can do it.
