I think donations should be illegal. All elections should be government funded to remove undue influence and possibility of corruption
of course this won't stop bribes, may even increase them. Then we will need more jail sentences for people taking and giving bribes
It says a lot when only the Nats are scummy enough to take ~~bribes~~ donations from the ciggy companies
It’s a shame we don’t have the 2026 data yet because I’d very much imagine One Nation will be a significant recipient as well.
The Nats are going to fade into irrelevance after the next Victorian, NSW, and federal elections anyway.
