I’ll have to check but I’m pretty sure Sauron has collected the dwarven rings back to himself. He promised the dwarves the rings back if they helped him find Bilbo Baggins.

That was after Durin VI's death; the Ring of Thror was recovered by Sauron's forces from Durin VI's great-x7 grandson, Thráin II, after he was captured in Mirkwood.
Dragons ate at least one of the dwarven rings.
I'm no expert, but I don't think the seven rings had the same kind of power that the three had.
That being said, it could be entirely possible.
