Anybody else having this issue? Hold the remote button for voice search in YouTube for example and Siri tries searching outside of the app and says it can’t find anything? Seems to have randomly started a few days ago.

Came into the sub hoping to find a fix for this… I have the same issue.

Was working fine until recently.

I have beta updates allowed so can only assume it’s a bug.

Shoot dude, I thought I wasn’t on beta with this AppleTV. Forgot I turned it on recently in an attempt to fix a different issue. I guess this is a beta problem. I have multiple Apple TVs, going to check one that isn’t beta and see if it works correctly. For the sake of anyone wondering I’ll try to report back soon.

Apparently on beta, you no longer have to hold the Siri button down. Just click.

Hmm I’ll give that a shot

Worked. Thanks!

They added that in TVos 16.5.

I'm not on the beta and I can do that.

I’m talking about in an app. You can just tap now on the 17.2 beta.
