Airplay Audible to Appletv? (alien.top)

I’m unable to make it work except by sharing my screen. Does anyone know whether it can work from within the Audible app?

i use audible on my iphone and can airplay to apple tv from the app. just tap connect to device above the play button and select airplay & bluetooth devices to stream to your apple tv.

Yes so that doesn’t work for me. But thanks for your reply, it confirmed my suspicion that it was possible (despite both Apple and Audible telling me it isn’t)

You haven't said which device you're using, so I'll assume iPhone.

In the Audible app (on my iPhone), when playing a book, right above the play button, it says "connect to device", which then lets me chose "AirPlay & Bluetooth Devices" and I can stream audio directly to my Apple TV.

Yes I’m aware, but when I try to connect it doesn’t work. Like it never plays. It doesn’t work for either iPhone and iPad, which is why I didn’t mention the device. But good to know it works for other people, that means it’s at least possible.
