This title sounds like a post in r/the_darnold last season

Well someone’s got to take over now that Snyder is gone.

Look, there's plenty of things to have an issue with Tepper about, but the head coaching issue is not it. He gave Rivera an extra season that he didn't deserve as a second chance. Rivera didn't work out, so we rightfully cut bait. Then, Tepper put his money where his mouth is and signed the hottest head coach candidate in the 2020 offseason. It was a widely praised move. We spent a ton of money for it. Then even though he should've been fired after year 2, Tepper gave Rhule 1 more year to show ANY improvement, and when he didn't, we rightfully cut bait again. Then, Tepper, after learning his lesson about an all-rookie coach squad, again put his money where his mouth is and put together a coaching staff absolutely soaked in experience and success. And when that failed hard, and we saw no chance of improvement at all, we rightfully cut bait again

One thing you CANNOT say about Tepper is that he has 0 interest in getting the right coach, because he's spending a ton of money and giving people more chances than they deserve

Good points, David Tepper … errr, random Reddit guy. I think I’ll reevaluate my negative opinion of him.

Fans and owners love blaming coaches, but the most successful franchises keep people around.

We only almost traded the farm for Desaun Watson, so we automatically aren't the worst.

[–] browndude10@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

but then traded the farm for Bryce Young

Cardinals fans: first time?

Just wait until your shitty owner dies...and then you get his shitty offspring to continue the tragedy.

I mean before this was Jerry Richardson, so I think they know what it’s like lol

Anyone expecting a billionaire failson to save their team is destined for disappointment

As a raider fan who only got to see the end of Al Davis. Yup.

Arizona Cardinals have entered the chat.

[–] Ledees_Gazpacho@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Sure, maybe he's the worst in the moment, but wake me when he keeps it up for decades like Woody Johnson has.

The way he fucked those people in South Carolina over the practice facility should have been a much bigger story.

[–] asmallercat@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Did he give a serial sex pest $250 million? No? Ok not the worst current owner then.

I feel like this is being blown out of proportion. It's pretty obvious that Reich wasn't at all the answer, so why wait until March? Because that's what most owners do?

He has the money to pay these contracts, churning through the position until you find a fit is no doubt the most effective way to do this.

It's inconvenient that this is happening in a QB's rookie year, but the difference between November and March is negligible. Reich's system is out the window, may as well get a head start.
