I don’t understand how the Texans don’t have a kicker at all anymore but mason Crosby is just jobless right now.
I'm shocked teams aren't trying more of the XFL kickers out. Texans are to replace Amendola but there are still some top XFL kickers that could likely compete against Crosby at this point in his career.
Maybe he doesn't want a job with an obvious expiration date? Just speculating obviously but it could make sense
Mason sadly doesn't have the strength to hit the endzone for consistent touch backs, and also struggled at 50+ attempts. But he was really solid in the under 50 attempts.
So as long as u don't care for kick returns and keep him in the long 40 or shorter range, he is a solid pickup

I love that Crosby is still kicking.
He was a senior at Colorado while I was a freshman. We’d get to games early and watch him casually bomb 65 yard FGs during warmups.

It’s weird that his career is basically done. It took my like… ten years before I finally stopped thinking GB’s kicker was Ryan Longwell, and now it’s like he’s only had a short career to me lol.
