She gained unintentional fame for doing a music video as a birthday present from her parents that was produced by a production company that boardered on exploitative. She for bullied online somewhat constantly from then on for something she really hadn't asked for everyone to see, and has since reclaimed her image and that song and is now comfortably paying the bills making pop songs
