Why care about it anymore? They have showed their true faces. We can talk about monetization but they can't treat their community the way they did.
Once people discover lemmy there is no going back.
The same reason we're still not quite over talking about whatever Twitter is getting up to! Like it or not these platforms have been a big part of our lives for coming up on a couple of decades now, so there will always be some residual interest in watching the train wrecks develop.
Seems like a distraction or coverup of some sort. Behind the scenes, maybe reverting to a backup?
