This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

Serious posts can be posted here and/or in /c/GenZhou.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information.

I have found you again. I was told there were tankies on lemmy. I think they intended to dissuade me from joining, lol

Welcome comrade! And don't worry, no tankies here. Hillary 2024

About fucking time

Every election cycle increasingly feels like some intentionally induced mass hysteria. 2016 salsa slinging hilldog seems almost quaint now.

They can call us whatever they want but it doesn’t change the fact that this instance is more reflective of the opinions of the Global South than their State Department opinions ever will be. Lol

Me leaving lemmygrad and wondering where all the people from the global south went: 🤔

Were you there before genzedong got quarantined?

[–] postgeographix@lemmy.world 37 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Yeah, was on the telegram channel as well right after. But i just don't vibe with telegram, it feels too much like Whatsapp instead of social media tbh.

[–] CannotSleep420@lemmygrad.ml 34 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I feel that. Telegram feels more like a groupchat that is way too big.

[–] toomanyjoints69@lemmygrad.ml 8 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I've never used it, but I've been told that usenet is similar

[–] PoY@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

it is, except usenet isn't exactly in realtime

[–] toomanyjoints69@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

How does it work if its not in real time? Does it all get updated every night or something?

[–] PoY@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 2 years ago

i actually never stopped to look.. i know clients can poll the server for article and post to groups if the server allows it, but I don't actually know if the servers all sync up on a cadence and dump massive amounts of data or if they only check for articles to satisfy client requests. it might be a mix of both?

Is the telegram channel/group still a thing? Do you have a link?

[–] GrainEater@lemmygrad.ml 24 points 2 years ago
