I haven’t completely given up on fields but unless he plays at a mvp level we’re probably taking a qb

[–] Soldier-Fields@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

AZ won too which is nice. NE is the biggest competition at this rate.

One step closer to Caleb Williams, whether the Fields truthers want to admit it or not.

It’s all about New England now. We need one win and we’ll be sure to

[–] IrishGrouch34@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The Panthers would have to win 3 games to be out of the top 2 at this point. Let’s goooo

The Patriots are REALLY bad. But thankfully for us the Panthers also are lol. I think Cardinals have shown they can win a few more games so come on 3rd overall pick! Though i think Washington is also a really bad team and they may go after MHJ if they end up 3rd overall.

[–] wrong-teous@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Washington has Mclaurin and Dotson and it doesn’t matter because their line is complete ass

[–] Vandy79@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I feel like if we can get the same value out of the number 1 this year as we did last year we should be trading the pick

[–] tacologic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I'm a little worried Carolina might win one. The NFC south is wonky. But two is a stretch. 🤞

[–] devinstated1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

They are 100% winning another game maybe 2 against Saints, Falcons and Bucs. Those 3 teams are so fkn bad.

[–] TouchGrassRedditor@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

They also have the SoS tiebreaker over the Pats so they effectively have to win 2 more games for us to lose the #1 overall

[–] devinstated1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No, they don't. They currently have identical.527 SOS after tonight and if Jax wins tomorrow night Carolina will have. Higher SOS.

Number 1 overall is a great place to pick. No pick is guaranteed to be great. Let’s hope that Poles picks someone that turns out to be a star. It would be really nice to believe the bears can square up against anyone on Sundays with a reasonable chance to win.

I'm less excited about the potential of 1.1 this year than last. There might still be time for Williams to rehab his public perception, but it just feels like a pick that's going to split a front office. GM's are going to feel like they can't pass on him or they could be the laughing stock of the country, but based on what we think we know, it wouldn't be surprising if coaching staffs don't fall in love with Caleb.

Bye-Bye Fields, you frog face fuck up. Go fumble for some other team, shithead. Take your fake-ass Bears "fans" with you.

[–] Upset_Researcher_143@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Right now it looks like Carolina, Washington, and NE will not win another game.

[–] Chi-Guy86@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

We’re definitely in great shape. Living in Tampa and watching the Bucs suck ass for weeks now, this was definitely the game I felt the Panthers had the best chance of winning. And for a while it looked like the Bucs were trying their best to give it away.

[–] frodeem@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

5 more weeks!

[–] Randy-DaFam-Marsh@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

My Panthers are just 4 games out of first place in the division. Here we come Superbowl 😤

[–] fudefite75@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The QB position is so valuable it almost makes sense to have two first rounders on the roster next year and let em fight it out for a year, then decide what to do with fields

We’re also still in contention, could you imagine winning the super bowl and having the number 1 pick

[–] cwweydert@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Sell the narrative that we are going QB @1 - drives up the trade value. If you want Williams/Maye it is going to cost you. Sit back and collect profit.
