They aren't even thinking about us. They just want to drive up prices so they can sell at a profit.
It's tough, if you want to prioritize owner-occupied homes there are several ways to do that (larger tax on secondary properties, bigger homestead exemption, etc), but it may just cause rents to go higher as investors pass along the costs
You have to tax the corporations. You have to tax the people worth >$20million at a much higher rate. You have to get that tax revenue into the hands of the low and low middle income classes. It's all going to make it's way back up to the top again, but you can help the poor in the meantime.
