Ebikes, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, longboards, eboards, motorcycles, skates, unicycles, heelies, or an office chair: Whatever floats your goat, this is all things micromobility!

"Transportation using lightweight vehicles such as bicycles or scooters, especially electric ones that may be borrowed as part of a self-service rental program in which people rent vehicles for short-term use within a town or city.

micromobility is seen as a potential solution to moving people more efficiently around cities"

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

I want more powerful ebikes to be allowed because there are a lot of roads here without bike lanes and I avoid them because I can't hit 35mph to keep up with traffic

I want a lightweight folding ebike that doesn't have small tires

I really want to design and build my own e-bike but too many other projects get in the way. An ideal ebike would have a reverse trike design, you'd sit low, but not too low (a lot of the trike designs you sit dangerously low to where cars can't see you). Having a digital drive so there is no chain and instead you are essentially just spinning a generator sounds very cool to me. Having a ton of power isn't that important to me since I have no interest in trying to explain to people that if the ebike is below 750 watts, then it technically is classified as a regular bike and can go anywhere a regular bike is allowed.
