Automated Dependent Surveillance Broadcast -- The most common way of tracking aircraft with simple radio receivers. This community is for discussion of the hardware and software needed to track the planes around you, how to feed that data to the aggregators, and many other topics around that.

This is just a simple first step to create an alternative place where people interested in ADSB can discuss their experience - without the corporate overlord trying to monetize what is being discussed.

Minor correction to the descriptive text for the community - ADS-B stands for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast, versus Defensive.
