As one who was on shop, I saw half the class do this, and none of them was a girl. Spacial awareness is something a lot of kids seem to not really get.

Man, I've been using tools for 25 years and less than a month ago I did the same thing with a chop saw. "WHY WON'T THIS BOARD CUT??? Oh. The body is hitting the clamp I put down."
